We embed our own product – Miro – in our course content and we love production tools like Camtasia & Premiere. For webinars, we love Hubspot & Zoom. We love our Yeti mics for crisp audio. And good lighting and framing for talking heads style videos are everything! We also like Looker for data & Wistia for hosting.
“I take a lot of inspiration from public media. I worked at an NPR station a long time ago and collaborated frequently with NPR, PRX & the BBC and a lot of my inspiration comes from the gorgeous ways public radio producers tell stories and teach others with just audio. I learned a lot about lugging equipment all over Austin & Washington DC about how you can do a LOT with a little, and about how important the editing process is before you go to market. Public media coined the term “driveway moment” back in the day where people pull into their driveways but don’t leave their cars until an episode of Radiolab has finished, no matter how long it takes, because they can’t bear to miss how stories conclude. If you’ve experienced this, you know firsthand how powerful good storytelling is!
My fabulously talented team gets a lot of inspo from things like Webflow university and the Kurzgesagt “In a Nutshell” videos on YouTube. Incredible stuff. “
